• Fewer odour-causing compounds: After 24 hours, volatile odour compounds were 56.8% lower than placebo. Reported reductions included 50.9% for acetic acid (vinegar-like odour), 58.2% for butyric acid (rancid odour) and 65.2% for valeric acid (sweaty-socks odour).
• Preserved microbial diversity: The supplier reports that the active ingredient did not reduce the overall quantity or diversity of underarm microflora.
• Reduced bacterial adhesion: Laboratory testing showed up to 92% less adhesion of the odour-forming bacterium Corynebacterium xerosis to the skin surface.
